The Viewliner was a sort-of futuristic train that traveled around Tomorrowland from 1957-1958. Cars did have a bit of a resemblance to the one beam Monorail cars, but that may be a bit of where the similarities cease. In late July, 2017 I made a three day visit to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. While there, I took some time to ride and film the Disneyland Monorail.

Am 14. Juni 1959 wurde die erste Disneyland-Alweg Strecke feierlich in Betrieb genommen. Namnet Alweg var en akronym av Axel Wenner-Grens namn ( A xel L ennart We nner- G ren). Alweg är mest känt för att ha utvecklat Disneylands monorailsystem, som öppnade 1959, och Seattle Center Monorail, som invigdes till 1962 års utställning Century 21 Exposition.
